The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nereo Udalaitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ovidio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Udalaitz having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Horacio Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achiras AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Vachon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Horacio Vachon made a precise shot to the right of Nereo Udalaitz. Club Atletico Pinocho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Horacio Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Oriche having to interfere. A hard shot 38 in the game by Horacio Vachon from a close distance when the talented Nereo Udalaitz managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Pinocho's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Berbiz in the 43rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Pinocho's goalkeeper Nereo Udalaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Pinocho's Aristides Taurino got a free kick in the 45th minute. After taking down the ball on Achiras AFC's corner Ramon Mon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nereo Udalaitz quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Eli kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Horacio Vachon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nereo Udalaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Achiras AFC's Horacio Vachon got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68 minutes, Rafael Bras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Pinocho and the Achiras AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Pinocho's Rafael Bras got a free kick in the 68th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 80th minute, when Club Atletico Pinocho's Pastor Bieito after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Leonardo Oriche in Achiras AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. If Ovidio Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Pinocho's Rafael Bras got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Pinocho's zone, Ovidio Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Udalaitz came out of the goal and Ovidio Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
