Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aaron Dolcet started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Achiras AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Abar. In the 10th minute Ovidio Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Oriol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Oriol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Vachon in the 12th minute of the match. Igor Oriol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Berbiz's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Leonardo Oriche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Godfredo Santos in the 25th minute. Lázaro Eli hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ropa Sucia FC! 32 minutes into the match, Achiras AFC's Ovidio Berbiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Oriol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Achiras AFC's zone, Godfredo Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Oriche came out of the goal and Godfredo Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Igor Oriol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Aaron Dolcet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Oriche. Aaron Dolcet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ovidio Berbiz was the one to do the kick off. Ovidio Berbiz let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 55th minute shot 1-1 at rihgt post. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ovidio Berbiz in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Oriol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ovidio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Oriol having to interfere. When Ovidio Berbiz came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Achiras AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Berbiz couldn't finish the play. Horacio Vachon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Abar's late challenge caught a Ropa Sucia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gustavo Abar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Gustavo Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Santos scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Oriche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ricardo Orlondon during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Ricardo Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Gustavo Abar suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Achiras AFC booed when Ropa Sucia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Vachon struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Igor Oriol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achiras AFC. Horacio Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Oriol having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Horacio Vachon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ropa Sucia FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
