Mariano Fernado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atletico Pinocho booed when Spacta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartolo Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Pastor Bieito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Spacta FC's Adolfo Mikelar didn't even have to move. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Theodore couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Pinocho's Saul Santiago sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolfo Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Saul Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Hernandez to make the kick off.
