Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5387, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Felipe Gomesano started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Funebrero FC booed when Capioví was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute, Emilio Telo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Capioví's Jimeno Shantala didn't even have to move. Hector Theobald might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jimeno Shantala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Theobald ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Gomesano scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Shantala, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hector Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Omar Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Funebrero FC's Felipe Gomesano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimeno Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, Funebrero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Henry came free, but Norberto Luar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Norberto Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Capioví players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Funebrero FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Henry made a kick off. Jimeno Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Gomesano in the 52nd minute of play. If Omar Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 61 minutes, Dalmacio Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capioví's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Norberto Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Dalmacio Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capioví's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Ruy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Luar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute Omar Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Luar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Capioví booed when Funebrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norberto Luar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Henry in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Zeledon Abad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Luar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute Omar Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Luar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Felipe Gomesano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amado Tauro charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Tauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Capioví's Amado Tauro got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jimeno Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Funebrero FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
