Spectators: 7160 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 60) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felipe Gomesano kicked off to start the match. When Horacio Vachon came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Achiras AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Vachon couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, Ovidio Berbiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achiras AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Berbiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Horacio Vachon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Funebrero FC's Norberto Luar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Berbiz took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Luar. Norberto Luar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Funebrero FC's Norberto Luar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Vachon in the 22nd minute of play. If Horacio Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hector Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Berbiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Norberto Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ovidio Berbiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norberto Luar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ovidio Berbiz ran back to his position shaking his head. Ovidio Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Horacio Vachon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achiras AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horacio Vachon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norberto Luar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Achiras AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ovidio Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Gomesano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leonardo Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ovidio Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Luar having to interfere. Horacio Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Luar having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ovidio Berbiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Norberto Luar, 0-3. Hector Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Oriche having to interfere. Norberto Luar stood somewhat misplaced when Horacio Vachon came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 87 minute. With an all-out effort, Achiras AFC's Norberto Luar threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ovidio Berbiz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 93rd minute, Abel Cordarrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Achiras AFC's Ramon Mon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hector Theobald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achiras AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
