Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Tercero started the match with the kick off. Saladero FC's Gavino Eskuin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Avellaneda in the 3rd minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Saladero FC's Guillermo Santikurtz in the 8th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adolfo Mikelar was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Spacta FC through an amazing save. After 10 minutes Spacta FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Martxel who took care of the corner kick. Antonio Avellaneda hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Santikurtz in the 25th minute of play forced Spacta FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Mikelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Guillermo Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Froilan Karmel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Mikelar. The goal made the score 1-0. Guillermo Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Mikelar having to interfere. If Froilan Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, David Galeno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saladero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Galeno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Karmel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Adolfo Mikelar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saladero FC. A collision led to Spacta FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bartolo Berart hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Santikurtz made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Spacta FC's Bartolo Berart slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gavino Eskuin. That made the score 1-1 after 53 minutes of play. Guillermo Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Adolfo Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Saladero FC defense, Edgardo Tercero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Eskuin. The Saladero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Eskuin should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Tercero might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Eskuin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Tercero ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the game, Diego Niva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spacta FC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, one of Saladero FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Saladero FC. Gavino Eskuin had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Raimundo Gaspard's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Basilio Theodore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gavino Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Spacta FC's Basilio Theodore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Eskuin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Froilan Karmel hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Guillermo Santikurtz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Mikelar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Froilan Karmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute David Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Mikelar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Froilan Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Saladero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Karmel couldn't finish the play. Froilan Karmel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Adolfo Mikelar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
