German Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Sustrai in the 12th minute of play forced Ataliva's goalkeeper Marcelino Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benigno Sustrai in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Austin saved Ataliva from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Geronimo Rey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of German Manex. el nuevo quimico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Rey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 28thth minute of the game Robustiano Egoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but el nuevo quimico's German Manex was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. German Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Rey in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, el nuevo quimico's Fernando Leocadio got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Emilio Tabb was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 33rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Ataliva getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Emilio Tabb hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, el nuevo quimico's Mariano Erroman got a free kick in the 47th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Rey in the 48th minute of play forced el nuevo quimico's goalkeeper German Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Egoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Marz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marcelino Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fabio Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. el nuevo quimico's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Austin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Venancio Rioja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. el nuevo quimico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ataliva the free kick. Robustiano Egoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. German Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Geronimo Rey could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which German Manex however easily saved by the left post. Robustiano Egoitz struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. German Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ataliva. Fabio Marz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelino Austin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Benigno Sustrai might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Austin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benigno Sustrai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rdth minute of the game Fabio Marz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ataliva's Marcelino Austin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Fabio Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Benigno Sustrai ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Austin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Adan Azeari kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Ataliva's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Sustrai came free, but Marcelino Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
