In the 3rd minute Celedonio Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Joanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcial Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amado Hechter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Carolo Teyo made a huge save. The supporters of Franklin booed when Leoandmat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Inge didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mario Shepherd fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leoandmat's protests and gave Mario Shepherd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute of the match Leon Argina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Joanes skillfully saved the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Franklin's goalkeeper Carolo Teyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amado Hechter. 18 minutes into the game, Geronimo Espiridion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Franklin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leoandmat the free kick. In the 18th minute, Geronimo Espiridion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Galeno charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Galeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francisco Galeno hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. A collision led to Leoandmat getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Mario Shepherd hit a great ball. Celedonio Orlanda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Orlanda during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celedonio Orlanda hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marcial Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franklin's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Emesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Joanes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Franklin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jesus Eladio was slow to take the kick. During this time Leoandmat's players had a chance to rest. If Amado Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Orlanda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leoandmat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Celedonio Orlanda scored to the left of an out of position Aquiles Joanes, making the score, 0-1. Celedonio Orlanda was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Amado Hechter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carolo Teyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Franklin's Geronimo Espiridion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Joanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Alejandro Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Teyo having to interfere. When Francisco Galeno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. A collision led to Leoandmat getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Francisco Galeno hit a great ball. If Marcial Emesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Franklin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Frederico to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Franklin's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Hechter came free, but Carolo Teyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Hechter struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Carolo Teyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leoandmat. If Amado Hechter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
