Pastor Gilesindo took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Batista. Jacobo Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Oriche got free with Jacobo Batista in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Lluc in the 13th minute of play forced OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA's goalkeeper Mariano Jerrald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Oriche who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Batista when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aquiles Oriche struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jacobo Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA. Jacobo Batista made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Aquiles Oriche sent off a good shot on target. If Aquiles Oriche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Gilesindo in the 40th minute of play forced Yanda FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Batista having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Mariano Jerrald came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Yanda FC's Elvio Paio. But to his dismay, Elvio Paio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Yanda FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Oriche came free, but Jacobo Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Aquiles Oriche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Pastor Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA's Mariano Jerrald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA from getting a goal against them. Anacleto Ponce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Jerrald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Jerrald was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Venceslao showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 79 minute of play. After 85 played minutes OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Laurgain. Jacobo Batista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Gilesindo in the 89th minute of the match. Aquiles Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jacobo Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Virgilio Laurgain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, OLIMPO BAHIA BLANCA failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
