An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Cisco in the 33rd minute of play forced San lorenzo's goalkeeper Isaias Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San lorenzo's Isaias Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Cai in the 41st minute of play. If Clemente Cisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Ubendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Cisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

San lorenzo's Paulino Tano got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, vampiros negros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Patxi came free, but Justino Pio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Clemente Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. vampiros negros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Ubendu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the vampiros negros FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San lorenzo.
