Evelio Hotz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Arano in the 11th minute of play forced Soto's goalkeeper Sixto Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Los Negros's Maximino Idacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC Los Negros from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes FC Los Negros got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Eutropio. In the 20th minute Evelio Hotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes, Soto's Israel Gurutz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximino Idacio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soto reached it. Sixto Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Fabio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes, Manuel Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Los Negros and the Soto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes FC Los Negros got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Sasoin. Evelio Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Christian Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benedicto Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Los Negros's Mario Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Soto defense, Mario Arano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Abastas. The Soto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Abastas should have stopped the shot.

Sixto Abastas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Arano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Benedicto Rufo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximino Idacio. FC Los Negros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Rufo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maximino Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Rufo in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Benedicto Rufo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Evelio Hotz made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Idacio. FC Los Negros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 76th minute, Benedicto Rufo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. A collision led to Soto getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Adan Orlondon hit a great ball. Mario Arano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Abastas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Soto got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Macerio. Soto's Sixto Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Arano in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soto had won after a very even match.
