When Froilan Patxi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the San lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Patxi couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Tano was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Froilan Patxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Maurin charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Maurin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Tano in the 64th minute of play forced Diamante FC's goalkeeper Egon Kvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as San lorenzo's Paulino Tano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egon Kvist. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. The Diamante FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching San lorenzo's performance. The match ended with a win for San lorenzo.
