Egon Kvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Arano in the 6th minute of the match. Fabio Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Egon Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Diamante FC's zone, Fabio Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Kvist came out of the goal and Fabio Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Diamante FC's Lino Nalo got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Gregorio Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Arano took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Kvist. Egon Kvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Lino Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Mario Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Kvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egon Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48thth minute of the game Mario Arano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diamante FC's Egon Kvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Diamante FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Los Negros were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Ascencio made a kick off. If Fabio Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamante FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Mario Arano scored to the left of an out of position Egon Kvist, making the score, 0-2. If Mario Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Los Negros's Guido Francesco couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 85th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diamante FC. Fabio Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Egon Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mario Arano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Kvist was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
