Luisito Pietro scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 minutes, Nereo Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapa Huasi FC and the Soto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Soto booed when Tapa Huasi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 23 minutes of play, Tapa Huasi FC's Fausto Kismi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Muno might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Abastas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Muno ran back to his position shaking his head. After 31 played minutes Soto got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Eduino. In the 35th match minute, Soto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Tibalt to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Muno in the 56th minute of play forced Soto's goalkeeper Sixto Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tapa Huasi FC's Francisco Muno got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Pietro couldn't finish the play. Sixto Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Muno in the 70th minute of the match. Sixto Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Muno, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Luisito Pietro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evelio Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Jerzyk having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Muno in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sixto Abastas saved Soto from getting behind. Tapa Huasi FC's Luisito Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Tapa Huasi FC were the better team. Tapa Huasi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
