Nemesio Oriol's late challenge caught a FC Los Negros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nemesio Oriol helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave FC Los Negros a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guido Francesco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lucila's Jorge Abascal. 0-1. When Inocencio Erdiano fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Los Negros's protests and gave Inocencio Erdiano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th match minute, FC Los Negros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Erdiano to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Simon Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mario Arano came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Los Negros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Arano couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, FC Los Negros's Mario Arano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorge Abascal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lucila's zone, Mario Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Abascal came out of the goal and Mario Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jorge Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jorge Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Los Negros. Mario Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jorge Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half FC Los Negros were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Arano to make the kick off. The supporters of FC Los Negros booed when Lucila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Lucila's goalkeeper Jorge Abascal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Eutropio. In the 61st minute of the match, Mario Arano tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Abascal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabio Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jorge Abascal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Los Negros. After 69 minutes, Mario Arano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Los Negros and the Lucila players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Lucila's zone, Mario Arano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Abascal came out of the goal and Mario Arano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mario Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Ramon Jaen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lucila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Los Negros the free kick. Ramon Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jorge Abascal came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Los Negros's Fabio Eutropio. But to his dismay, Fabio Eutropio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Inocencio Erdiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Gervasio Hori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mario Arano came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the FC Los Negros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Arano couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Lucila's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Arano came free, but Jorge Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Idacio having to interfere. The FC Los Negros players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
