Lucila's Jorge Abascal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Tano in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of San lorenzo booed when Lucila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Froilan Patxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San lorenzo's Isaias Ubendu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save San lorenzo from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, San lorenzo's Daniel Abascal got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Ramon Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulino Tano in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Abascal saved Lucila from getting behind. Isaias Ubendu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Hori, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Froilan Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jorge Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Edur's late challenge caught a Lucila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florencio Edur helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San lorenzo getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Florencio Edur hit a great ball. In the 92nd match minute, Lucila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. San lorenzo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
