Spectators: 7122 (Terracing: 5314, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Dennehy AFC's Domingos Manuelo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Dennehy AFC's Generoso Sesuldo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Abel Xacintu came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Claromeco FC's Marco Etxeberri. But to his dismay, Marco Etxeberri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Dennehy AFC's zone, Marco Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Xacintu came out of the goal and Marco Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 played minutes Dennehy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Mattin. In the 19th minute of the match, Carlos Bero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abel Xacintu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th match minute, Dennehy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Quintana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gwidon Klucznik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claromeco FC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 29th minute of the game, when Tolek Dziedelonis after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Dennehy AFC's goal. Tolek Dziedelonis was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Marco Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Abel Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bero in the 44th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Domingos Manuelo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Claromeco FC's Gwidon Klucznik. Gwidon Klucznik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Bero to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Etxeberri in the 56th minute of the match. Claromeco FC's Marco Etxeberri got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Carlos Bero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abel Xacintu was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the game, Claromeco FC's Marco Etxeberri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Xacintu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marco Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Bero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Fermin Nardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claromeco FC and the Dennehy AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Dennehy AFC defense, Carlos Bero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Xacintu. The Dennehy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Xacintu should have stopped the shot. Haroldo Mattin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Carlos Bero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Abel Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abel Xacintu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Bero's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Generoso Sesuldo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Marco Etxeberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claromeco FC's Carlos Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Etxeberri in the 96th minute of play forced Dennehy AFC's goalkeeper Abel Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claromeco FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
