Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Vito in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Xacintu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jonas Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Joel Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Quintana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonas Berasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Abel Xacintu made a huge save. Baldomero Tonio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Vito in the 38th minute of play forced Dennehy AFC's goalkeeper Abel Xacintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Generoso Sesuldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dennehy AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boca Juniors the free kick. Arnulfo Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abel Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Vito in the 42nd minute of play. Dennehy AFC's Abel Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Vito in the 45th minute of play. Abel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Vito in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Vito made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Jonas Berasko made a precise shot to the right of Abel Xacintu. Dennehy AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 56 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Santikurtz. Arnulfo Vito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Xacintu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Vito in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Xacintu saved Dennehy AFC from getting behind. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dennehy AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lorenzo James was slow to take the kick. During this time Boca Juniors's players had a chance to rest. Dennehy AFC's Abel Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Vito in the 74th minute of play. Haroldo Mattin charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Mattin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Jonas Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Berasko couldn't finish the play. Jonas Berasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Abel Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Xacintu having to interfere. Abel Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Vito in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Marcial Quintana made a precise shot to the right of Joel Orlin. Boca Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
