Arnaldo Fernendo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Esteban Oalo sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Avestruz FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fernendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Oalo. After 17 played minutes Avestruz FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Ler. With a little luck, Avestruz FC's Arnaldo Fernendo got control of the ball when Esteban Oalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Fernendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Oalo in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Avestruz FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Fernendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sixto Ado. Cecilio Rico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Orlandus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When Cecilio Rico came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Avestruz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Rico couldn't finish the play. Cecilio Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Severiano Orlandus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Luis Stanislao got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cornelio Rocendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Avestruz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Stanislao to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Rocendo's late challenge caught a Fogonera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Rocendo helped the player get up and apologised. Cornelio Rocendo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Amador Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Esteban Oalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cecilio Rico struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Severiano Orlandus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avestruz FC. Cecilio Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cecilio Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Severiano Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Stanislao in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute Amador Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
