Ronny Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Policarpio in the 35th minute of the match. Victorio Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Gau having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victorio Iratxo to make the kick off. Ronny Van Bever showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Mark in the 55th minute of the match. Candido Policarpio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Van Bever having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Carolina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Iratxo came free, but Gaston Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Victorio Iratxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaston Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Iratxo in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Aurelio Rodas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gaston Gau, 0-2. Con esta's Ronny Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Mark in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Carolina FC's Candido Policarpio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronny Van Bever made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Tobias Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Victorio Iratxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Con esta's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Iratxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Gau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaston Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Candido Policarpio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Van Bever. Con esta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Candido Policarpio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Con esta were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
