The Mar Azul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Flores should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Edgard Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd play minute Alfredo Arias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonel Flores. 2-0. In the 25th minute, Generoso Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alfredo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Mar Azul FC's goalkeeper Leonel Flores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Arias. Leonel Flores came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Casimiro Arreche Fc's Alfredo Arias. But to his dismay, Alfredo Arias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 33rd match minute, Casimiro Arreche Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Eate to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Gaston Salvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casimiro Arreche Fc and the Mar Azul FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Casimiro Arreche Fc! In the 46th minute of the match Nestor Jurgi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernan Peter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

Mar Azul FC's Leonel Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Arias in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Hernando during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Mar Azul FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Hernando. Alfredo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Leonel Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Casimiro Arreche Fc's Victorio Hibai got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Victorio Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Niva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidoro Niva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leonel Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Niva in the 88th minute of play forced Mar Azul FC's goalkeeper Leonel Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Arreche Fc's Alfredo Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Casimiro Arreche Fc's zone, Generoso Hernando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernan Peter came out of the goal and Generoso Hernando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Isidoro Niva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casimiro Arreche Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mar Azul FC the free kick. In the 96th match minute, Casimiro Arreche Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Niva to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mar Azul FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Casimiro Arreche Fc.
