With a little luck, Movimiento 26 de Julio's Waclaw Merski got control of the ball when Fabio Antonangeli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaspar Manni struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gaspar Manni might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dario Herrera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaspar Manni ran back to his position shaking his head. Gaspar Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Fabio Antonangeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franco Canadiense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Antonangeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Franco Canadiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Ramos came free, but Dario Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Movimiento 26 de Julio's Waclaw Merski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Ursino in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Movimiento 26 de Julio's Hernan Ramos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Herrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gaspar Manni made the kick off in the second half. Alberto Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Antonangeli scored 2-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waclaw Merski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Antonangeli in the 60th minute of play forced Movimiento 26 de Julio's goalkeeper Waclaw Merski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Movimiento 26 de Julio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Manni to maneuver through the defense. A sloppy throw-in by Ricardo Abascal in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Franco Canadiense FC's Pascual Cordario. After 81st play minutes Fabio Antonangeli shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Waclaw Merski and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Antonangeli in the 88th minute of play forced Movimiento 26 de Julio's goalkeeper Waclaw Merski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Antonangeli in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Waclaw Merski saved Movimiento 26 de Julio from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Franco Canadiense FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
