A collision led to Abuela Gela getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Aquiles Mikolas hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Huascán's Damian Marques tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Abuela Gela got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Leocadio. Venancio Ferdinand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Daniel Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13thth minute of the game Benigno Chano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abuela Gela's Venancio Ferdinand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Benigno Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Ferdinand having to interfere. Abuela Gela's Venancio Ferdinand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Abuela Gela from getting a goal against them. When Prospero Leocadio fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abuela Gela's protests and gave Prospero Leocadio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Prospero Leocadio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Jaunzuria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Galo struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Venancio Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huascán. If Damaso Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Damaso Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abuela Gela's supporters rose to their feet, but Damaso Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remigio Jaunzuria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Benigno Chano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Venancio Ferdinand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Chano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benigno Chano struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Venancio Ferdinand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huascán. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abuela Gela's goalkeeper Venancio Ferdinand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Damaso Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Abuela Gela's Nunez Fernendo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Benigno Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Ferdinand having to interfere. Cristobal Asur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Remigio Jaunzuria made a huge save.
