No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaspar Manni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Movimiento 26 de Julio booed when Occithanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Eguzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Occithanos fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! With a little luck, Occithanos's Arnaldo Chorache got control of the ball when Hernan Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Liberto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hernan Ramos got free with Arnaldo Chorache in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Occithanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Liberto to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Eguzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Waclaw Merski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Eguzki ran back to his position shaking his head. When Primitivo Eguzki came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Occithanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Eguzki couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Occithanos fully deserved thier win.
