Marciano Bento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Arias in the 3rd minute. Eliseo Cresenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Bento having to interfere. In the 6th minute Eliseo Cresenciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Cresenciano scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marciano Bento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Barracon's Nicanor Pelagius in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ampolla AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Marcos Veremundo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barracon the free kick. Marcos Veremundo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Ampolla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Jaunzuria came free, but Venancio Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Gau having to interfere. Vinicio Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ampolla AFC:s Venancio Gau showed great skill when he stopped Angelino Eder:s penalty. Eliseo Cresenciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Cresenciano ran back to his position shaking his head. Robustiano Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Marciano Bento made a huge save. Robustiano Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Eliseo Cresenciano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Bento was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Vinicio Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Gau having to interfere. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ampolla AFC's goalkeeper Venancio Gau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Barracon's Nicanor Pelagius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Gau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Robustiano Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Pelagius to make the kick off. If Robustiano Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd match minute, Barracon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Arnau to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Barracon's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Cresenciano came free, but Marciano Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Jaunzuria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Gau having to interfere. Eliseo Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Antonio Bazil notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ampolla AFC's Venancio Gau. Venancio Gau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marciano Bento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Cresenciano in the 70th minute of the match. Eliseo Cresenciano might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Bento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo Cresenciano ran back to his position shaking his head. Barracon's Marciano Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Cresenciano in the 78th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Ampolla AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. The Barracon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barracon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
