Fausto Librado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Arias in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Robustiano Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampolla AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Fausto Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Cresenciano in the 36th minute of play. Eliseo Cresenciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Mauricio Quintun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampolla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cowboy Athletic the free kick. Luciano Dominguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Rudolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Robustiano Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Librado having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Cresenciano was the one to do the kick off. When Eliseo Cresenciano came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ampolla AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 92 in the game by Rigoberto Rudolfo from a close distance when the talented Venancio Gau managed to make a qualified save. Ampolla AFC's players were relieved. 97 minutes into the game, Alvaro Primeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ampolla AFC fully deserved thier win.
