Melquiades Beremundo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicanor Pelagius showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The supporters of Nojiren FC booed when Barracon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Furtado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 7th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Cecilio Neron put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marciano Bento. In the 12th minute, Nicanor Pelagius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Gaitano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, one of Nojiren FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nojiren FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Acevedo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barracon booed when Nojiren FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th minute, Anier Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anier Acevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Bento having to make a save. Evaristo Cisco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Bento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Anier Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Salomone hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Pelagius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narciso Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Bento having to interfere. Anier Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Anier Acevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Nojiren FC were awarded a corner. Narciso Furtado went to the cornerflag to take it. After 73 played minutes Nojiren FC got a freekick which was hit by Anier Acevedo. Vinicio Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vinicio Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Evarado struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Marciano Bento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nojiren FC. In the 89th minute Narciso Evarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Barracon were victorious despite being under pressure from Nojiren FC for much of the match.
