The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MSG's goalkeeper Lorenzo Oliviero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, MSG's Flavio Urbes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Muc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teobaldo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Urbes in the 10th minute of play. Flavio Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Muc having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Serafino Henrico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Muc was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Henrico in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Dolfos during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes MSG got a freekick which was hit by Damian Dolfos. In the 32nd match minute, El Jagüel F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Flavio Urbes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute Flavio Urbes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Muc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MSG's Lorenzo Oliviero got control of the ball when Eduardo Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 48 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MSG! The referee gave El Jagüel F.C a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Dabi to strike the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Muc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Ovidio Dabi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Mantzio in the 63rd minute of play forced MSG's goalkeeper Lorenzo Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in MSG's zone, Ovidio Dabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Oliviero came out of the goal and Ovidio Dabi tried to chip the ball over his head. Lorenzo Oliviero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Dabi in the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Serafino Henrico could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Teobaldo Muc however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute, Eduardo Mantzio made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Oliviero. MSG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of MSG booed when El Jagüel F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the match, MSG's Miguel Lore broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Flavio Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Teobaldo Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Emmanuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Oliviero. MSG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. MSG's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
