After having played for 5 minutes, Eusebio Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itacaruaré AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Urtzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Santo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Joanes saved Porvenir from getting behind. If Eusebio Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Tobias Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Constantino Joanes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Urtzi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Itacaruaré AFC's Emiliano Roderigo got a free kick in the 26th minute. Celso Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Porvenir fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Urtzi got free with Constantino Joanes in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Constantino Joanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Santo in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Santo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Itacaruaré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Chesus came free, but Ismael Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Santo in the 54th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Constantino Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the game, Itacaruaré AFC's Eusebio Urtzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Joanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Eusebio Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Joanes having to interfere. Cipriano Tabby charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Porvenir getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cipriano Tabby hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Itacaruaré AFC's Arnoldo Berriotxoa tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Constantino Joanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Santo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Joanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Porvenir's Celso Florinio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Romelio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 88 minutes into the match, Porvenir's Fulgencio Chesus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Romelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Constantino Joanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Itacaruaré AFC fully deserved thier win.
