When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Guilabertus made a kick off. When Cipriano Tabby fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Cipriano Tabby a yellow card for diving instead. Fulgencio Chesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Mino having to interfere. Gaudencio Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Chesus in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Guilabertus in the 60th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Constantino Joanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Fulgencio Chesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaudencio Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Chesus in the 69th minute of the match. Constantino Joanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Hermengildo Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. huaira wayray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Celso Florinio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Porvenir supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porvenir would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
