Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gerardo Erauso made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rdth minute of the game Gerardo Erauso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbano Rios was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ovidio Dabi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovidio Dabi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Dario Pinto hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victorio Otsando during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes El Jagüel F.C got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Otsando. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Daunte in the 20th minute of play forced El Jagüel F.C's goalkeeper Teobaldo Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When River Plate's Luis Daunte in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Jagüel F.C's goalie prevented a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Luis Daunte notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc. Teobaldo Muc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute, Gerardo Erauso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Jagüel F.C's zone, Luis Daunte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Muc came out of the goal and Luis Daunte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gerardo Erauso came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Erauso couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Erauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Muc having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Luis Daunte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Muc. El Jagüel F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Daunte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Teobaldo Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Daunte in the 46th minute of play. Teobaldo Muc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Erauso in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ovidio Dabi made the kick off in the second half. Teobaldo Muc made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Luis Daunte sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in River Plate's zone, Ovidio Dabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Rios came out of the goal and Ovidio Dabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, El Jagüel F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Erauso came free, but Teobaldo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Muc came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Luis Daunte. But to his dismay, Luis Daunte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. El Jagüel F.C's Eduardo Mantzio got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Muc acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wilfredo Jax. In the 80th minute, Victorio Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Erauso in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Ovidio Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Erauso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teobaldo Muc. That made the score 1-5 in the 94 minute of play. The River Plate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River Plate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
