Godofredo Ciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Muc having to interfere. Ovidio Dabi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Benedicto Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Jagüel F.C. Ovidio Dabi scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benedicto Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Dabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 33rd minute Ovidio Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ovidio Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Ulizes hit a great ball. Godofredo Ciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Teobaldo Muc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Muc having to interfere. Dario Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, Cholulo FC's Benedicto Marques got control of the ball when Eduardo Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. El Jagüel F.C's Teobaldo Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Sendoa in the 55th minute of play. Benedicto Marques made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Eduardo Mantzio sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benedicto Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cholulo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ovidio Dabi 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The supporters of El Jagüel F.C booed when Cholulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godofredo Ciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Ovidio Dabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cholulo FC's zone, Eduardo Mantzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Marques came out of the goal and Eduardo Mantzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ezequiel Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Ovidio Dabi came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the El Jagüel F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Dabi couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, El Jagüel F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Eneas came free, but Teobaldo Muc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes, El Jagüel F.C's Baldomero Piearres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benedicto Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Jagüel F.C reached it. Cholulo FC's Benedicto Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Cholulo FC from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Jagüel F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
