Benedicto Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Henrico's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. With a little luck, MSG's Lorenzo Oliviero got control of the ball when Godofredo Ciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Cholulo FC's Clemente Esiquio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Oliviero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Cholulo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Chorche. It was beautiful to see MSG's Miguel Lore in action when he in the 16th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Benedicto Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Eneas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lorenzo Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cholulo FC's Benedicto Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Urbes in the 27th minute of play. If Godofredo Ciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aurelio Eneas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Serafino Henrico sped through Cholulo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benedicto Marques. Lorenzo Oliviero made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Godofredo Ciano sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aurelio Eneas made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cholulo FC! After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Serafino Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. MSG's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Flavio Urbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedicto Marques was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, MSG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes in the game, Flavio Urbes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benedicto Marques having to interfere. After having played for 72 minutes, Serafino Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MSG's Serafino Henrico got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Serafino Henrico struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Benedicto Marques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MSG. Benedicto Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MSG players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cholulo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
