Islas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Azucena FC the free kick. The supporters of Azucena FC booed when Islas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Obeko in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Corderun saved Islas AFC from getting behind. 17 minutes into the game, Florencio Ado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Filiberto Corderun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filiberto Corderun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Ado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Islas AFC's zone, Florencio Ado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Corderun came out of the goal and Florencio Ado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Obeko in the 26th minute of play. Aldo Azibar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Eduino having to interfere. Aldo Azibar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Fernan Eduino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islas AFC. The Islas AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Azucena FC were winning 0-2.

In the 51st minute Damaso Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Ado succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Filiberto Corderun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. 66 minutes into the match, Islas AFC's goalkeeper Filiberto Corderun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Ado. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Florencio Ado took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Filiberto Corderun to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Damaso Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Ados short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Filiberto Corderun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florencio Ado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Filiberto Corderun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Florencio Ado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azucena FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Aldo Azibar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Azucena FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
