Camilo Tajo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Resto having to interfere. Leteque AFC's Arnaldo Resto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Tajo in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Leteque AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Dominic to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Camilo Tajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Resistencia Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Tajo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute Eusebio Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Resto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Salvadore was the one to do the kick off. Ernesto Florinio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Leteque AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Taurino came free, but Arnaldo Resto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
