Lázaro Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aristides Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Primitivo Hegoi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lázaro Vedillo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Primitivo Hegoi sent off a good shot on target. Lázaro Vedillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Ongile in the 28th minute of play. When %teams%'s Aristides Ongile was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 31 minutes into the game. Lázaro Vedillo was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. In the 39th minute of the match Narciso Burutzagi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lázaro Vedillo skillfully saved the ball. Primitivo Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Urtun came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ausejo FC's Modesto Erroman. But to his dismay, Modesto Erroman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Aristides Ongile made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute Primitivo Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Romulanos FC's Primitivo Hegoi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Baldomiro Urtun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Baldomiro Urtun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Cordarell in the 81st minute. The supporters of Ausejo FC booed when Romulanos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Locaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had been going on for 91 minutes, Ausejo FC's Raimundo George got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Baldomiro Urtun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Ongile in the 97th minute of play forced Ausejo FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Vedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Romulanos FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ausejo FC to win.
