Rene Ioritz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vinicio Gartzea. Angelino Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Rene Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Enekoitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rene Ioritz having to make a save. The long shot by Dario Stephen in the 15th minute really tested Rene Ioritz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Angelino Miliano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rene Ioritz. Angelino Miliano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Jose Enekoitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Rene Ioritz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 21 minutes into the match, Pozuelos's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Miliano came free, but Rene Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes Pozuelos's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dario Stephen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dario Stephen got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Ioritz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the game, Astor Elija cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Pastor Birila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobo Bizen might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pastor Birila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacobo Bizen ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Birila having to interfere. After 37 minutes, Cleto Laffitte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malvinas FC and the Pozuelos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Beliran during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pozuelos booed when Malvinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Beliran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pozuelos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Romeo Miliano in the 41st minute. A very nice done corner allowed Roque Delfino to score against Pastor Birila in Malvinas FC's goal. 2-2 after 41 minutes. 46 minutes into the match, Malvinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Elija came free, but Pastor Birila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Pastor Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Astor Elija was the one to do the kick off. When Vinicio Gartzea fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malvinas FC's protests and gave Vinicio Gartzea a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Malvinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Gartzea. Angelino Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Ioritz having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Angelino Miliano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Ioritz was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Jose Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Pastor Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Elija in the 74th minute of play forced Malvinas FC's goalkeeper Pastor Birila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Birila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Elija in the 82nd minute of the match. Leopoldo Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Pozuelos getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Romeo Miliano hit a great ball. After 90 minutes of play, Malvinas FC's Angelino Miliano made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Ioritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pastor Birila was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Astor Elija capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Astor Elija really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
