Vantarck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pozuelos the free kick. After 38 played minutes Vantarck got a freekick which was hit by Damian Inautzi. In the 40th minute, Jacobo Bizen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roque Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Kemen having to interfere. Rene Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Jurdan, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Astor Elija to make the kick off. Maximino Stephen charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Roque Osoitz fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vantarck's protests and gave Roque Osoitz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Roque Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Bizen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Felipe Kemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Vantarck's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Delfino came free, but Felipe Kemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Jacobo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Kemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Astor Elija notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Vantarck's Felipe Kemen. Felipe Kemen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Eugenio Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Vantarck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Jurdan couldn't finish the play. Pozuelos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
