The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Marinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacobo Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Marinho having to interfere. A collision led to Pozuelos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Samuel Michael hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Merlina FC were awarded a corner. Anastasio Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Bartolo Mundo at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Pozuelos. 1-1. Diego Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Bizen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hernan Lucado made the kick off in the second half. Rene Ioritz came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Merlina FC's Hernan Lucado. But to his dismay, Hernan Lucado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
