The audience was convinced that Geronimo Urko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Tipi was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Surisaltana FC's Benito Musko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hilario Tipi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raimundo Ado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Benito Musko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hilario Tipi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Santikurtz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Benito Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Tipi having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Marcial Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Ivan Santikurtz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Quinteros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parque Chacabuco's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Rito in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gervasio Paul got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Quinteros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Prospero Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Miguel Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surisaltana FC's goalkeeper Miguel Quinteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, Benito Musko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Tipi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Surisaltana FC's goalkeeper Miguel Quinteros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Ivan Santikurtz made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Santikurtz in the 53rd minute of play forced Surisaltana FC's goalkeeper Miguel Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Quinteros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Santikurtz in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Rolado in the 76th minute of play forced Surisaltana FC's goalkeeper Miguel Quinteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Quinteros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Santikurtz's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Geronimo Urko fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 83rd minute, Geronimo Urko fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hilario Tipi, passed just outside the right post. Benito Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Tipi having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Geronimo Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surisaltana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Alberto Pereyra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Surisaltana FC and the Parque Chacabuco players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rene Rito walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The Parque Chacabuco supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Surisaltana FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Surisaltana FC.
