The referee showed Wilfredo Toribio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to GaboN F.C. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Rene Rito hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Parque Chacabuco's goalkeeper Hilario Tipi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Orzaize. Parque Chacabuco's Prospero Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivan Santikurtz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Lizardi having to interfere. Jacobo Qwinton hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. GaboN F.C.'s Maximiliano Pere couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Parque Chacabuco. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Wilfredo Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. GaboN F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Tipi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
