If Cleto Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Martin FC's Mario Furman got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Hermelando in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Weather prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Weather made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Furman in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Hermelando was the one to do the kick off. Cleto Hermelandos short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Siro Weather to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
