Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Vivala's Marcos Mikelar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Edur in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Quinteros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urbano Modestio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Urko in the 9th minute of play. If Benito Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Vivala getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Fabio Natanael hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Surisaltana FC's zone, Ciro Edur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Quinteros came out of the goal and Ciro Edur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ciro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Surisaltana FC's Matias Gorri suffered a concussion in the 26th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 28 minutes into the game, Surisaltana FC's Alfredo Pancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Modestio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ciro Edur struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Miguel Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vivala. Ciro Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Surisaltana FC's Miguel Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Tebaldo in the 40th minute of play. Ciro Edur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabio Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vivala's Freddy Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benito Musko was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fabio Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 minutes, Marcos Mikelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vivala and the Surisaltana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Pereyra hit a great ball. Benito Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Modestio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Surisaltana FC's Arnulfo Txilar got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ciro Edur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Surisaltana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Mikelar came free, but Miguel Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Benat kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Surisaltana FC's Alberto Pereyra got a free kick in the 74th minute. Freddy Tebaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Miguel Quinteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciro Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Quinteros made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ciro Edur sent off a good shot on target.
