A collision led to EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Vladimiro Lertxun hit a great ball. Hurlingham's Raimundo Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Raimundo Duarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baltasar Richie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raimundo Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jorge Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Richie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Theodore's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Raimundo Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Theodore came free, but Baltasar Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Theodore struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Baltasar Richie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurlingham.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Theodore to make the kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Richie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jorge Theodore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raimundo Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Baltasar Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raimundo Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Richie having to make a save. Baltasar Richie made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Raimundo Duarte sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Ederono in the 77th minute of play forced Hurlingham's goalkeeper Camilo Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raimundo Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Theodore came free, but Baltasar Richie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Ruperto Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jorge Theodore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Raimundo Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurlingham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltasar Richie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Theodore in the 90th minute of the match. Baltasar Richie didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Hurlingham's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
