In the 22nd minute Astor Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Arrocera FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hector Ralondo hit a great ball. Guido Milian kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 36 played minutes, racingclub's Federico Espiridion shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Serafin Pereyra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in racingclub reached it. After some careless play in the Arrocera FC defense, Eustaquio Feliu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Pereyra. The Arrocera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Pereyra should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nemesio Inguma to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astor Ponce got free with Serafin Pereyra in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. racingclub's Astor Ponce came free and shot a quick shot against goal 60 minutes in the game, fortunately Serafin Pereyra had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Serafin Pereyra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Ponce in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Milian during the 66th minute. Serafin Pereyra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Anacleto Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arrocera FC's zone, Eustaquio Feliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Pereyra came out of the goal and Eustaquio Feliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nemesio Inguma might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Cresconio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Inguma ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Feliu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Serafin Pereyra. Eustaquio Feliu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Serafin Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Ralondo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The racingclub players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
