To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcos Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Jurgi charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Jurgi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romulo Jurgi hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Zeledon Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Foro in the 12th minute. The supporters of rocarosa booed when EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Txordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Siro Huly led 15 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's Baltasar Richie became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lázaro Etxeberri in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltasar Richie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltasar Richie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Baltasar Richie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Baltasar Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28thth minute of the game Raimundo Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's Baltasar Richie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's Marcos Ederono got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Lázaro Etxeberri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raimundo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Baltasar Richie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of rocarosa booed when EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Hanni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Txordon. Siro Huly took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltasar Richie. EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With 40 minutes on the clock, Siro Huly commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to rocarosa getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Siro Huly hit a great ball. Hermengildo Gonsalve, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Ederono stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. rocarosa's Zeledon Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Ederono in the 51st minute of play. Lázaro Etxeberri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Richie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vladimiro Lertxun hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's Victorio Foro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Machado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcos Ederono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Machado having to make a save. Zeledon Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Foro in the 77th minute of the match. Zeledon Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Machado came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC's Victorio Foro. But to his dismay, Victorio Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Lázaro Etxeberri put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Baltasar Richie. Lázaro Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Foro struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Zeledon Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EL NOVENO PASAJERO FC. The rocarosa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
