Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Fix started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. San Lorenzo F.C.'s Lucio Llin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Ostargi in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo F.C.'s zone, Victorino Acuña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucio Llin came out of the goal and Victorino Acuña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Abecia in the 10th minute of play. Thea's Augusto Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Abecia in the 11th minute of play. With a little luck, Thea's Augusto Rocendo got control of the ball when Miguel Fix tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cecilio Misael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thea's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Misael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Llin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 17 played minutes Thea got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Guzman. Augusto Rocendo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Fix in the 19th minute. Lucio Llin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Miguel Fixs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Augusto Rocendo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Claudio Abecia came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the San Lorenzo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Abecia couldn't finish the play. Thea's Augusto Rocendo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Thea from getting a goal against them. Augusto Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Abecia in the 33rd minute of play. Lucio Llin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Misael, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Abecia during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes San Lorenzo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Abecia. Saverio Bingen got a throw-in 47 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Maxin. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, San Lorenzo F.C.'s Miguel Fix made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augusto Rocendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Fix scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Rocendo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Claudio Abecia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Misael hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. If Cecilio Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. San Lorenzo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Victorino Acuña scored to the left of an out of position Lucio Llin, making the score, 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Fix in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Rocendo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Fix took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Rocendo. Augusto Rocendo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Elpidio Ostargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Llin having to interfere. Augusto Rocendo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Abecia in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Thea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of San Lorenzo F.C.:s goal. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for San Lorenzo F.C.. Miguel Fix stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Rocendo. 4-1. Augusto Rocendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 98th minute Miguel Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Rocendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
