Angelo Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Palben, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Feliciano Odol charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Odol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliciano Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz's Feliciano Odol got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Victorio Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Conrado Pereyra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Palben in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Mingo saved Udcisa from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Udcisa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Palben came free, but Angelo Mingo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristo Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Udcisa's Agustin Lesardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Godoy Cruz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristo Palben to make the kick off. Angelo Mingo was a little too slow when Cristo Palben got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Cordarrol in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Quico saved Godoy Cruz from getting behind. Cristo Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Mingo having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Gabriel Goito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Udcisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Goito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Quico came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Udcisa's Victorio Cordarrol. But to his dismay, Victorio Cordarrol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Gabriel Goito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Quico having to interfere. If Dalmacio Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Victorio Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Ugaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Dalmacio Eufemio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
