A hard shot 5 in the game by Ivan Lehior from a close distance when the talented Natalio Quico managed to make a qualified save. Godoy Cruz's players were relieved. Ivan Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz's Feliciano Odol got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 11th play minutes Ivan Lehior shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Natalio Quico and just under the crossbar into goal. Moises Montrelle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Palben in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Incahuasi's Reynaldo Neron got a free kick in the 26th minute. With his leg Natalio Quico managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Incahuasi's Ivan Lehior fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Incahuasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivan Lehior in the 31st minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Victorio Gora heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Cristo Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Lehior made a kick off. When Herminio Irrintzi fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Godoy Cruz's protests and gave Herminio Irrintzi a yellow card for diving instead. Cristo Palben kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The Incahuasi fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Incahuasi's Ivan Lehior looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Eufemio got free with Moises Montrelle in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes, Ivan Lehior made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Godoy Cruz's Natalio Quico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Lehior in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Reynaldo Neron made a precise shot to the right of Natalio Quico. Godoy Cruz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When Ivan Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Incahuasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Lehior couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute Cristo Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Montrelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado Pereyra in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Ivan Lehior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Quico was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Godoy Cruz's zone, Reynaldo Neron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Quico came out of the goal and Reynaldo Neron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Incahuasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Lehior in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Quico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Neron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Palben in the 96th minute of play forced Incahuasi's goalkeeper Moises Montrelle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Incahuasi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
