When Leon Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gonzalez Catan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Salamon couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Marcelino Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BULACHAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Intxixu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomero Oidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th match minute, Gonzalez Catan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Soter to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Erruki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Baldomero Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Toribio hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in BULACHAS FC's zone, Artemio Gonsalve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saverio Atarratze came out of the goal and Artemio Gonsalve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Toribio lost his temper 25 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 25 minutes into the game, one of BULACHAS FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Saverio Atarratze, was totally fooled by Gonzalez Catan's Artemio Gonsalve, who 27 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Leon Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Intxixu struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Baldomero Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BULACHAS FC. Rodrigo Bero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Saverio Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saverio Atarratze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Bero's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Salamon in the 40th minute of play forced BULACHAS FC's goalkeeper Saverio Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Bero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Saverio Atarratze. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. A collision led to Gonzalez Catan getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Leon Salamon hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, BULACHAS FC's Marcelino Intxixu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Oidor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Intxixu to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, BULACHAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Salamon came free, but Saverio Atarratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Leon Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Rodrigo Bero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonzalez Catan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Bero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Atarratze having to interfere. Saverio Atarratze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Abechuco in the 63rd minute of play. Marcelino Soter kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marcelino Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Rodrigo Bero made a precise shot to the right of Saverio Atarratze. BULACHAS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 82nd minute when Leon Salamon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Leon Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Atarratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Bero in the 91st minute of the match. When Gonzalez Catan's Rodrigo Bero in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BULACHAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Bero took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Atarratze. Saverio Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gonzalez Catan fully deserved thier win.
